The 4th International Environmental Children’s Drawing Contest
For the 4th consecutive year IQNet has been one of the sponsors of this unique initiative which aims to promote the environmental awareness among the young generation world-wide. More than 12.000 children from 60 different countries have participated in the 4th contest sending marvellous drawings by which they have demonstrated a remarkable ability to express views, concepts and dreams about the environment. It has been very difficult to choose the 50 drawings to be awarded as they are all very impressive and interesting: looking at these drawings we discover that the young painters pay a lot of attention to safeguarding nature having the tendency to imagine their life in a wonderful and well preserved environment. IQNet believes that these drawings represent the evidence that the young generation has understood the importance of the nature and that it is ready to live in harmony with it. IQNet is very proud of the success of the 4th International Environmental Children’s Drawing Contest as we think to have given a valuable contribution to enhance the world-wide environmental awareness. Although it could be difficult to understand why an International Association of Certification Bodies like IQNet is so involved in this kind of initiatives, it shall be underlined that the IQNet behaviour is very well tuned with its values which are summarised in its motto: “IQNet improves your quality of life”. This motto means that IQNet believes in its role on the international scene which is focused on the promotion of the environmental certification of companies but it is also addressed to enhance the awareness of the international society towards the importance of the environmental issues. IQNet is convinced to give a significant contribution in setting up an environmental culture world-wide thanks to very simple initiatives like the International Environmental Children’s Drawing Contest by which it is possible to put together a remarkable number of children, families and schools from all parts of the world with a common big asset to safeguard: the environment.
