ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Standard Certification For Legal Services awarded to the Israeli Law Offices of Shiboleth, Yisraeli, Roberts, Zisman & Co.
The Israeli Law Offices of Shiboleth, Yisraeli, Roberts, Zisman & Co. ("Shiboleth") were awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification by IQNet and its Israeli partner, the Standards Institution of Israel (IS), for compliance with its Quality Management Systems qualifications for Legal Services, making it the first major commercial - corporate law firm in Israel to obtain this prestigious certification. The ISO certification is most fitting for a law firm that is widely regarded as one of Israel's premier commercial - corporate law firms, with a solid reputation for assisting their domestic and international clients navigating through government and international compliance standards and regulatory procedures. The ISO certification for compliance with the Quality Management Standard in the provision of Legal Services was proudly earned by Shiboleth following the completion of an exhaustive, demanding and introspective certification process. Shiboleth's internal and attorney-client management procedures were initially submitted to the Israel Standards Institution, where they underwent extensive and comprehensive scrutiny. The firm was informed that it was already compliant with much of the qualification standards and the Institution and the firm worked together to make whatever changes were necessary to become fully ISO compliant. As part of its application for ISO certification, Shiboleth created an official office manual with guidelines for proper office management to which the firm closely adheres. In addition, Shiboleth periodically surveys its clients asking them to rate their satisfaction with the quality of services provided by the firm. Shiboleth received much affirmative and encouraging feedback from its clients. After several days of meticulous examination by the Standards Institution at Shiboleth offices in Tel Aviv, the firm was informed that it had passed all requirements for ISO approval. A formal presentation of the ISO certificates by the General Manager and the Chairman of the Board of the Standards Institution was held on February 12, 2004 in Tel Aviv and attended by all of the firm's attorneys and employees.
